Description:
Simparica Trio provides fast and effective protection for dogs against deadly parasites.
One chew monthly prevents deadly heartworm disease and provides treatment and control of fleas, ticks, mites and gastrointestinal worms in dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age.
Recommendations for Use:
- HEARTWORM PREVENTION: Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis with one chew each month.
- FLEAS: Rapidly kills fleas within 4 to 8 hours after treatment. Can be used as part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) and breaks the flea life cycle by killing adult fleas before they can lay eggs.
- FLEA TAPEWORM: Effective flea control with Simparica Trio prevents infestation with flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum).
- TICKS: Treat and control paralysis ticks, brown dog ticks, and bush ticks. Rapidly kills pre-existing paralysis tick infestations within 24 hours of treatment.
- INTESTINAL WORMS: Treat and control hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala) and roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina) including immature stages of A. caninum (L4, L5) and T. canis (L5).
- MITES AND MANGE: Treats and controls demodectic mange caused by Demodex canis, sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei and treats and controls ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
- Please note that this product treats roundworms and hookworms, but not tapeworms. If you’re using it alongside a tapeworm treatment such as Droncit, we recommend leaving at least 48 hours between doses. For advice tailored to your pet, please have a chat with your veterinarian.

Dosage: Administer one chew per month according to bodyweight.
Can be safely given to:
- dogs from 1.25kg and 8 weeks of age
- heartworm positive dogs
Well tolerated in avermectin sensitive dogs
Can be used concurrently with – anaesthetics, anthelmintics, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, parasiticides and vaccines.
Not recommended for use on puppies under 8 weeks old or weighing less than 1.25 kg. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances. The safe use of Simparica Trio has not been evaluated in breeding dogs and pregnant or lactating bitches.
Simparica Trio has been shown to be safe in various breeds of dog across a broad weight range when administered according to the dosage schedule.
